This is of a life model in a drawing class, there is a series on these but there were only a few good ones. This one is made with a focus on contrast and line variety.

Another life drawing study, this one was an experiment in emotion though expressionism. I remember the life model remarking she was in an uncomfortable postilion and I tried to recreate that reality.

The ‘Old Man’ was a fun drawing, the weathered nature of the subject allowed for great detail and the chaotic, spontaneous nature of the mark making shows the depth of the subject.

This like most of my work stated with a quick study. The difference with this one is the higher emphasis on stylisation.
